When you sponsor a box, your contributions help us buy essential items, assemble care packages, and deliver them to individuals via our vetted partner organizations.

With Build-a-Box, supporters choose the items that go into care packages, ensuring that selections cater specifically to the needs of our beneficiaries.
Veterans & Military Families Program
This program provides tailored packages for veterans and active-duty military families, packed with items that provide comfort and essential support.
Seasonal Campaigns
We conduct time sensitive drives to address urgent needs such as school supplies or winter essentials, distributing all items through our community partners. During the holidays, we organize special meal and gift campaigns so no one goes hungry or feels unseen.
FreshStart Pathway Program (Coming Soon)
FreshStart Pathway helps neighbors move from a first care package to steady access to food. With a mentor, participants choose steps and get support for essentials like transit, phone service, work tools, etc. Coming soon to National Capital Region.
Community Engagement and Partnerships
We encourage community involvement, fostering connections that uplift our neighbors in times of need, and we build strong partnerships with local stores, clinics, shelters, and workforce groups to make support easy to access.
